Founder

As a technologist with a Ph.D. in EE/ECE and a passion for innovation, I’ve spent years developing IoT and healthcare solutions at companies like Machinesense and Opteev, holding over 30 US patents in sensor systems. My experience, including as an Adjunct Research Professor at UMBC, has given me a deep insight into the skills truly needed in today’s world.
It became clear that traditional education often falls short in preparing our children for the demands of a rapidly evolving, AI-driven future. This realization fueled the creation of JibonOJeebika – a mission to equip Bengali youth with modern, essential skills from an early age.
We are building a platform that not only teaches cutting-edge technologies like coding but also fosters critical thinking, communication, and holistic well-being. Our goal is to empower a generation that can not only thrive but also lead in this new era.

Mallika Chatterjee

Mallika Chatterjee is an accomplished IT professional, education advocate, and serial entrepreneur based in Kolkata. She is the Program Director and Co-Founder of Jibon O Jeebika, an online education platform she co-established with Dr. Biplab Pal. The initiative was founded with a clear vision — to deliver quality, affordable education to students across West Bengal, with a focus on conceptual clarity, skill development, and accessibility for every learner.
With nearly two decades of experience in the IT industry, Mallika has worked extensively in enterprise technology solutions, digital strategy, and business development. Her academic background in science and a postgraduate degree in Computer Applications (MCA) provide her with a strong technical foundation, while her managerial expertise and strategic insight have enabled her to successfully lead and scale multiple ventures.
Beyond education, Mallika embodies a diverse entrepreneurial spirit, having also founded and managed ventures in the food industry. Her innovation-driven mindset and ability to bridge technology with business growth reflect her versatile leadership.
At Jibon O Jeebika, Mallika plays a pivotal role in organizational growth, digital transformation, and people management. Under her leadership, the platform has expanded its reach, empowering thousands of students across Bengal.

Subhrajit Bhattacharjee is a results-driven entrepreneur, technology leader, and financial strategist with over two decades of experience in electronic product development, manufacturing, and IoT-based innovation. As Director and CFO of Jibon O Jeebika, he blends entrepreneurial vision with a passion for technology-enabled learning, driving initiatives that make quality education accessible and future-focused. Subhrajit has successfully founded and led ventures in product R&D and digital transformation, guiding cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions for industries including Indian Railways and global enterprises. An Electronics and Communication Engineer by background, he remains dedicated to fostering innovation, sustainable growth, and digital empowerment across technology and education sectors.
